Bobov Rebbe Leads Spiritual Retreat in Country Hills Amidst Satmar Rebbe’s Wedding Hall Expansion

The Bobov Rebbe, Rabbi Chaim Rosenbaum, recently spent Shabbat with his Hasidim at the "Etz Chaim" yeshiva camp located in the country hills, providing the young men with a spiritually uplifting experience. The event included traditional ceremonies from the Friday evening "Motamia" gathering through to the "Baglighten" ceremony at the conclusion of Shabbat, all under the Rebbe’s holy presence.

Meanwhile, the Satmar Rebbe, during his vacation in New Hampshire, inaugurated expanded wedding halls and a private study hall in the residence of his late father, the "Barek Moshe" Rebbe, in Kiryas Joel, Monroe. Upon returning, the Satmar Rebbe affixed mezuzot in a moving ceremony and hosted a celebratory meal in the new halls.

Additional notable Hasidic events include the Sanz-Kloiznburg Rebbe’s 36-hour Shabbat gathering in Safed with hundreds of followers, the grand Bar Mitzvah celebration of the eldest grandson of the Zutshka Rebbe in Bnei Brak, and the Zvahel Hasidim’s assembly in Beitar Illit for a memorial Shabbat and Siyum HaShas. The Kasov Rebbe from the U.S. led a prayer gathering at the ancient site of Shiloh, continuing a tradition established by his father.

Other updates highlight the appointment of Rabbi David Moshe Horowitz as successor to the late Beit Shmuel Tzvi Despinka Rebbe, the Vizhnitz Rebbe’s recent Parshas celebration in preparation for his grandson’s wedding, and the first relocation of Darg Hasidim families from Bnei Brak to Emmanuel since the sect’s founding. The Lelov-Nikelsburg Rebbe is currently resting in Davos, Switzerland, preparing for the upcoming High Holy Days.
