Bezeq Wins Major Government Communication Tender

Bezeq, a leading Israeli telecommunications giant, announced a significant achievement on Wednesday as it was declared the primary winner and sole provider in a major tender issued by the Accountant General in the Ministry of Finance. Under this new agreement, Bezeq will manage and supply approximately 70% of the data communication services for all government ministries, subsidiary units, and related bodies.

The contract is set to commence in the fourth quarter of the current year, with an initial term of 48 months. It includes options for extensions, potentially lasting up to an additional 72 months. Bezeq will provide business lines, transmissions, IPVPN lines, communication equipment, and advanced network solutions. These services will form a crucial part of the infrastructure for the government's transition to the public cloud under the 'Nimbus' project.

Nir Dodov, CEO of Bezeq, expressed his satisfaction with the win, stating, "Bezeq's selection as the main provider is an expression of confidence in our capabilities, the quality of our infrastructure, and our service level.
