Breslov Followers Attack Passenger Shouting 'Free Palestine' at Airport
A commotion erupted at Ben Gurion Airport when a passenger shouted "Free Palestine" at a group of Breslov Hasidic followers returning from Uman, Ukraine. Within seconds, dozens of the Hasidim descended upon the man, assaulting him. Other passengers attempted to intervene and separate the groups, but their efforts were unsuccessful in stopping the altercation.
The incident occurred as the Hasidic pilgrims were disembarking, having completed their annual visit to the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman. Video footage of the confrontation circulated online, showing the physical altercation.
