Passenger Attacks Praying Israelis at Romanian Airport, Gets Beaten in Return
An unusual incident occurred at the boarding area of an airport in Romania when a passenger disrupted the evening prayer of a group of Israelis returning from vacation. The passenger repeatedly shouted curses at the praying individuals, calling them "Free Palestine." He approached the group multiple times, escalating his behavior. During the second interruption, while the group was in the middle of their Amidah prayer, he again shouted insults. On his third approach, after the prayers had concluded and they were reciting Kaddish, he continued his verbal abuse. The situation escalated when the passenger, holding a beer, approached one of the worshippers. After being questioned, the passenger allegedly began punching the worshipper. The victim stated he received several blows and, in self-defense, retaliated with punches. Airport police reportedly searched for those involved after the altercation. The incident was captured on video and circulated on social media.
