Hapoel Tel Aviv Considers Signing David Asanke for Future Investment

Hapoel Tel Aviv is exploring the possibility of strengthening its squad with Israeli talent for the future, and David Asanke, a standout player for Hapoel Ramat Gan, has emerged as a target. The club is monitoring the 21-year-old winger and is considering a move to acquire him, though not for immediate integration into the first team. Asanke recently signed a three-year contract with Hapoel Ramat Gan, meaning any transfer would require reaching an agreement on a transfer fee, and no formal negotiations have begun.

Asanke, an attacking midfielder who can also play on the wings, began his career at Beitar Nordia Jerusalem. Last summer, he joined Hapoel Ramat Gan and was instrumental in their promotion to the Premier League, scoring seven goals in 34 National League appearances. This season, he has been a key player for Hapoel Ramat Gan, contributing three goals in the Toto Cup and providing an assist in their recent 2-0 victory over Maccabi Netanya.

In the current Premier League season, Asanke has made four appearances and recorded one assist. He is considered one of Hapoel Ramat Gan's most prominent players this season, with expectations that he will move to a larger Israeli club next season.
