IDF Chief of Staff Declares Military Most Moral in the World

Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi stated at an appreciation event for donors to the Association for the Soldiers that attempts to tarnish the reputation of IDF soldiers and commanders through lies and manipulation are ongoing. He emphasized that combating these efforts is a national and international mission.

"The expression 'All of Israel is responsible for one another' is also the deepest expression of the individual's responsibility for the welfare of the entire people. This important parable is reflected in the attempts to tarnish IDF soldiers and their commanders in various ways, using baseless lies and manipulations," Kochavi said.

He further asserted, "This is a national and international mission, and we must stand up to it on every platform and against every claimant and say clearly: The IDF is the most moral army in the world!"

"In light of deliberate attacks on our civilians, in light of barbaric raids targeting the civilian population, in light of missile launches at city centers, we adhere to the IDF's values and international law and do everything in our power to avoid harming the innocent," Kochavi added.
