Girl Rescued After Falling Six Floors Onto Awning in Eilat
A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after falling from the sixth floor of a residential building in Eilat on Tuesday. Firefighters and medical teams responded to the scene and found the girl lying on a pergola on the first floor. She was then extricated and transported to Yoseftal Hospital in serious but stable condition.
Firefighters from the Eilat regional station arrived at the building and located the girl on the pergola. They secured her to a backboard along with medical personnel and removed her from the structure to continue medical treatment. Paramedics provided life-saving medical care at the scene.
According to the fire department, the girl fell from the sixth story and landed on the pergola on the first floor. A paramedic who treated her stated that she was conscious and suffering from multiple systemic injuries. She was evacuated by an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital.
