Itay Hazut Reaches Agreement in Principle with MS Ashdod
Nineteen-year-old midfielder Itay Hazut, currently with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, has reached an agreement in principle to join MS Ashdod of the National League until the end of the season. Ashdod has been actively pursuing Hazut, aiming to secure a central role for him as they strive for promotion back to the top tier of Israeli football. Hapoel Be'er Sheva is reportedly not ruling out the loan move at this stage.
Hazut, son of former Hapoel Be'er Sheva player Gadi Hazut, recently made his first start of the season in a league match against Hapoel Petah Tikva, though he was substituted at halftime. Last season, he made eight appearances across all competitions for Be'er Sheva, scoring one penalty goal against Maccabi Haifa in the final game of the season.
