Hapoel Be'er Sheva Midfielder Iitay Hazut Agrees to Join MS Ashdod
Iitay Hazut, a 19-year-old midfielder for Hapoel Be'er Sheva, has reached a preliminary agreement on terms with MS Ashdod. Hazut, son of former player Gadi Hazut, is expected to join the National League team with the aim of helping them return to the top tier of Israeli football.
MS Ashdod had been actively pursuing Hazut, reportedly seeking to acquire him on loan and assign him a central role in their squad. Hapoel Be'er Sheva has not ruled out this possibility at this stage.
Hazut made his first start of the season in Hapoel Be'er Sheva's recent league match against Hapoel Petah Tikva, though he was substituted at halftime. Last season, he made eight appearances across all competitions for Be'er Sheva, scoring one penalty goal against Maccabi Haifa in the season finale.
