Maccabi Haifa Midfielder Itay Ehud Set for Loan Move to Israeli Premier League Club

Itay Ehud, the young midfielder from Maccabi Haifa, is set to go out on loan again, this time to a club in the Israeli Premier League. Despite Maccabi Haifa securing its squad for the upcoming season under coach Yarin Levi, the team faces a surplus of players in the defensive midfield position, prompting Ehud's loan move.

According to Channel 5 Sports, three Premier League clubs are competing for Ehud's services. These include Hapoel Ramat Gan, recently promoted and coached by Massai Dago, who has a history of developing youth players; Ironi Kiryat Shmona, where another Maccabi Haifa loanee, Niv Gabay, is currently playing; and Hapoel Petah Tikva, known as a favorable environment for young players.

Maccabi Haifa will insist on including a clause in Ehud's loan contract guaranteeing him playing time. Ehud, who will turn 20 in two months, was one of the standout players for Hapoel Kfar Saba last season, scoring four goals across all competitions and receiving 15 yellow cards in his debut senior season.
