Israeli Teen Expresses Extreme Anti-Arab Views in Viral Video

A video released by Israeli satirist Lior Schleien shows a disturbing conversation with a high school student expressing extreme anti-Arab sentiments. In the segment, part of Schleien's series interviewing young people on political topics, the student advocates for the murder of all Arabs.

When asked by Schleien how he would treat Arab citizens of Israel, the student responded, "I will kill them." He elaborated, "Give me a knife, I will murder them. Every Arab should not live in the State of Israel. Every Arab should get cancer in his body, I don't care if he is good or not." The student stated his views predated the October 7th Hamas attack, during which his family was harmed, claiming, "Even before, I was racist towards Arabs, it doesn't matter. All my life, since I was born."

The student further asserted that "every Arab should be in a grave" and that anyone who loves Arabs "has a big problem." When Schleien questioned the difference between a terrorist and an ordinary Arab citizen, the student denied any distinction. He extended this view to the wider Middle East, stating that all 350 million Muslims there "should die."

Schleien attempted to reason with the student, highlighting the impracticality and self-destructive nature of his views, even in the face of personal sacrifice. The student remained resolute, stating, "I have no problem sacrificing my life, first of all, against Arabs. I have no problem killing 50 Arabs and dying." He claimed his views were shared by his family and friends, and anyone disagreeing should "get out of the country."

Schleien concluded by linking the student's extreme ideology to broader political discourse in Israel, suggesting that figures like Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, and the government's direction, lack answers to the consequences of such views. Schleien urged an immediate end to the path he believes Israel has been taking in recent years, represented by the student's perspective.
