Prominent Rabbi Hospitalized in Tel Aviv with Severe Pneumonia
Rabbi Mordechai Auerbach, the chief rabbi of the 'Abir Yaakov' community in Tel Aviv and a senior rabbinical figure in the city, has been hospitalized at Ichilov Medical Center. He was admitted about a week ago due to severe pneumonia complications.
Rabbi Auerbach, son of the renowned Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, spent the recent Rosh Hashanah holiday in the hospital due to his critical condition and the need for close medical supervision. His hospitalization has caused deep concern within the community.
Public prayers are being called for Rabbi Mordechai ben Chaya Rivka, asking for his complete recovery among all the sick of Israel.
