New Polls Show Emerging Parties Crossing Threshold, Shifting Political Landscape

Two new polls published Monday indicate that two emerging parties, "Amcha Yisrael" and the "Reservists-Economic Party" led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha, would each secure four Knesset seats if elections were held today. The "Amcha Yisrael" party would pass the electoral threshold for the first time, according to a "Midgam" poll for Channel 12 News. In that poll, the "Yesher!" party garnered 23 seats, followed by the Likud with 20, and "Beitechad" with 13. The Democratic Party received 10 seats, Israel Beiteinu 8, United Torah Judaism 8, the Joint List 8, Shas 7, Otzma Yehudit 6, Religious Zionism-Identity 5, Amcha Yisrael 4, Ra'am 4, and the Reservists-Economic Party 4. This poll suggested a right-wing bloc would win 50 seats and a bloc opposing Prime Minister Netanyahu would reach 54, with Arab parties and the Hendel-Zelekha party in the middle.

A similar poll by "Kantar" for Kan News showed "Yesher!" with 24 seats, Likud with 20, and "Beitechad" with 12. The Democratic Party secured 8 seats, Israel Beiteinu 8, Otzma Yehudit 8, United Torah Judaism 7, Shas 7, the Joint List 7, Religious Zionism 6, Ra'am 5, Amcha Yisrael 4, and the Reservists-Economic Party 4. Both polls suggest a significant shift in the Israeli political landscape with the potential entry of these new parties.
