Jerusalem Man Charged With Sex Crimes Against 10-Year-Old Daughter
Jerusalem police have filed a statement of intent to indict a 39-year-old resident on suspicion of committing severe sex offenses against his 10-year-old daughter. His arrest has been extended pending the filing of a formal indictment.
The investigation began following a report received by the police. Detectives from the Moriah station in the Jerusalem district, along with child investigators and welfare officials, worked to gather evidence and clarify the suspicions.
On September 2, 2026, both parents were arrested. The father was apprehended on suspicion of committing the sex offenses, while the mother was arrested on suspicion that she knew about the events and failed to report them as required by law.
The couple's daughters have been transferred to emergency care facilities for their protection and well-being. With the completion of investigative actions and the consolidation of the evidentiary basis, the prosecution has filed a statement of intent to indict the suspected father.
