Veteran defender Orel Dgani has officially signed a two-year contract with MS Ashdod, a significant reinforcement for the port city team. Dgani joins from Hapoel Petah Tikva, where he was instrumental in their advancement to the top playoff bracket of the Israeli Premier League last season.
Throughout his career, Dgani has earned 21 caps for the Israeli national team and made over 400 league appearances for various clubs, including Maccabi Netanya, Beitar Jerusalem, Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Hapoel Haifa.
Wearing the number 25 for his new team, Dgani expressed his enthusiasm after the signing. "I am very happy to arrive in Ashdod and begin a new challenge in my career," he stated. "I will contribute my experience so that at the end of the season we will achieve our goal and return the club to the Premier League."
