Beloved Nostalgic Jelly Candies Return to Israeli Shelves
Elite, a brand under Strauss, has announced the return of its popular "Jelly Berachot" (blessed jelly candies) to Israeli shelves. The nostalgic candies, which were a consumer favorite, are back with an improved recipe and familiar flavors including pineapple, apple, strawberry, and grape. This relaunch also introduces new emoji shapes, adding an element of surprise to each candy.
The return of Jelly Berachot is part of Elite's strategy to expand its candy product range and reintroduce sought-after items. The new iteration is also designed to cater to a wider audience, being pareve kosher under the supervision of the Badatz of the Edah HaChareidis, vegan, gluten-free, and made with natural food colorings.
This move follows Strauss's recent reintroduction of another nostalgic product, "Tov Ta'am." However, the new Tov Ta'am offering is a limited-edition chocolate-cream-filled waffle, distinct from the original snack.
