Channel 14 Host Suggests Screening Gaza Film in Gaza

Channel 14 host Tal Meir has sharply criticized the creators of the film "Naza," Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, suggesting the film be screened in Gaza in their presence. Meir stated, "Let's see what their fate will be afterward." She recalled that Hamas terrorists on October 7 did not differentiate between Gaza aid workers and other Israelis, asserting, "To them, everyone was a settler."

Meir's comments came as the film "Naza," which she described as slandering Israeli soldiers and receiving applause from an "antisemitic" global audience, won a special jury prize at the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The film presents accusations against the IDF's operations in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF has officially responded to one of the film's central claims, labeling it a "complete lie." The military stated that the testimony forming the basis of this claim lacks factual support and that the described attack "was never planned, approved, or carried out."

Meanwhile, Minister Ofir Zohar has reportedly requested an examination of revoking citizenship from the film's creators. The controversy surrounding "Naza" emerges as Israel and the IDF face significant international scrutiny over their actions.
