IDF Thwarts West Bank Shooting Attack During Rosh Hashanah Holiday
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Monday that security forces apprehended a terrorist in Hebron on Saturday, the first day of Rosh Hashanah, who was planning an imminent shooting attack against Israeli civilians. The operation took place in the "City of the Patriarchs," Hebron, within the Judea Brigade's area of operation.
Acting on intelligence from the Shin Bet security agency, soldiers arrested the suspect, identified as Abd al-Rahman. Information gathered indicated he was preparing to carry out the attack shortly.
The IDF stated that security forces continue to operate throughout the Judea and Samaria Division to thwart terrorism and neutralize threats to Israeli citizens.
