IDF Arrests Terrorist in Hebron Planning Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the arrest of a terrorist in Hebron who was planning an armed attack. The operation, conducted on Saturday, September 12, was based on intelligence from the General Security Service (Shin Bet).
The arrested individual, identified as Abd ar-Rahman, a resident of Hebron, was reportedly preparing to carry out a shooting attack. The IDF stated that the arrest occurred during the holiday period.
Additionally, in a separate incident on the night of September 14, three suspects were detained in Qabatiya, south of Jenin. These individuals are also suspected of preparing to carry out attacks. No official statement from the IDF regarding the Qabatiya arrests has been released yet.
