IDF Strikes Gaza, Eliminating Hamas Engineering Unit Members

The Israeli military conducted strikes in both Lebanon and Gaza on Sunday. In the Gaza Strip, two militants belonging to Hamas's engineering unit were eliminated. The IDF stated the operation was aimed at removing a threat.

Separately, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused Israel of indirectly supporting ISIS by systematically targeting Syrian military capabilities. Fidan made these remarks during a visit to Damascus, where he met with Syrian Foreign Minister Faysal Mikdad. He suggested that while Syria offers hope to the region, Israel acts to destabilize it.

In Yemen, the Houthi movement issued a threat against Saudi Arabia, vowing severe repercussions for continued aggression. The Houthis claimed to have attacked arms depots and command centers in Saudi Arabia's Sharurah region using ballistic missiles and drones in response to Saudi actions. They warned that further attacks would be met with more significant actions deep within Saudi territory.

Reports also indicated an alleged U.S. strike on an Iranian merchant ship in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in one fatality. Additionally, news emerged of a suspected triple homicide in Israel's Sharon region, where three men were found in a burning vehicle near Baqa al-Gharbiyya. Authorities have launched an investigation.
