IDF Eliminates Two Hamas Engineers in Gaza City Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Sunday that it targeted and eliminated two Hamas operatives involved in the organization's engineering unit in the Gaza City area. The targeted individuals were identified as Mahmoud Hassan Ali Abu Nada and Abdel Rahim Ahmed Khalil Hawar.
According to the IDF, the two men were recently engaged in the production and development of weapons, advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, and working to restore the organization's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire.
The strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat. The IDF stated that prior to the attack, measures were taken to minimize civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threats.
