Abada equalized for Charlotte in the 7th minute with his third goal in four games, calmly lifting the ball over the goalkeeper after a defensive mix-up. Toklomati then restored Charlotte's lead in the 54th minute, heading home a cross from Rodolfo Pizarro to make it 3-2. This marked his ninth goal of the season and fourth in his last six appearances. However, Cincinnati salvaged a point with a late equalizer in added time.
