Oscar Gloukh Assists Fourth Goal in Ajax's Dominant 5-1 Victory

Israeli midfielder Oscar Gloukh entered as a substitute and provided an assist for Ajax's fourth goal in their commanding 5-1 away win against Fortuna Sittard on Saturday. Gloukh, who has yet to score in the Eredivisie this season and lost his starting position, made his impact felt after coming on. The assist came in the 78th minute, with Gloukh and Kasper Dolberg finding themselves alone against the goalkeeper before Gloukh set up the Danish striker.

Ajax, looking to rebound from a 3-1 home loss to PSV Eindhoven in their previous match, extended their unbeaten streak against Fortuna Sittard to 20 games. Julian Brandt opened the scoring for Ajax in the 35th minute, but Fortuna Sittard equalized in the 52nd minute through substitute Anthony Descotte.

Newcomers Thilo Kehrer and Sofyan Amrabat made their starting debuts for Ajax. Kehrer scored his first goal in the 62nd minute and later assisted Davy Klaassen, who had also come off the bench. Gloukh and Dolberg were introduced in the 74th minute. Juri Baas added a fifth goal in stoppage time following a corner from Viktor Tsygankov.

The victory temporarily moved Ajax into fifth place in the league standings. They have a game in hand, which they will play on Tuesday at home against Willem II.
