Veteran Center Bryant Dunston, 40, Linked to Panathinaikos Move
Veteran basketball player Bryant Dunston, 40, is reportedly a top target for Greek EuroLeague club Panathinaikos, according to Greek journalist Sotiris Vettakis. Panathinaikos, coached by Zeljko Obradovic, is looking to strengthen its center position following an injury to player Mustapha Fall and is considering several options.
Dunston, who is currently without a contract and has not announced retirement, could be embarking on his 14th EuroLeague season if the move materializes. His extensive EuroLeague career includes two years with Olympiacos, eight seasons with Anadolu Efes where he won the championship twice, and stints with Virtus Bologna, Zalgiris Kaunas, and most recently, Olimpia Milano.
Last season with Olimpia Milano, Dunston averaged 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.56 minutes per game over 17 EuroLeague appearances. Dunston previously played for Hapoel Holon in Israel.
