Two Serious Road Accidents Leave Multiple Injured Across Northern Israel
Two significant traffic accidents occurred in northern Israel over the weekend, resulting in multiple injuries. On Saturday at 12:23 PM, Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report of a motorcycle crash on Highway 899 near Malkia. A man in his 30s sustained limb injuries and was airlifted by MDA's "Hatzala Air" helicopter to Rambam Hospital in moderate condition.
Another serious incident took place on Highway 2 near the Hof HaSharon interchange, where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The 30-year-old victim was found lying in the middle of the road and was transported by ambulance to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba with severe injuries.
Earlier, on Friday evening, a two-car collision on Highway 854 between Ma'alot Tarshiha and Kfar Vradim injured five people. Two men, aged 39 and 30, suffered moderate injuries, while three others sustained light injuries. MDA paramedics treated all five at the scene before evacuating them to Nahariya Hospital.
