Two Men Seriously Injured in Separate Early Morning Road Accidents in Northern Israel

Early Friday morning, a severe car accident occurred on Highway 4 near the entrance to Ein Carmel kibbutz, close to Atlit. A man in his 60s was critically injured, and another man around 40 sustained moderate injuries when two vehicles collided. Magen David Adom (MDA) teams provided life-saving medical treatment at the scene and transported both men to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. MDA medic Yosef Friedman described the 60-year-old as semi-conscious with serious bodily injuries, while the younger man was fully conscious but hurt in his limbs and head.

In a separate incident during the night on Highway 65 near Masad in the Lower Galilee, a 19-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured after being hit by a car. Paramedics found him lying on the road with a multi-system trauma and semi-conscious state. Senior MDA medics Moran Abu Shakra, Gat Ben Haim, and Itzik Ben Haim administered emergency care and rushed him to Poriya Medical Center. His condition remains critical.

Both accidents highlight ongoing road safety challenges in northern Israel, with emergency services responding promptly to provide urgent care and hospitalize the victims for further treatment.
