Israel Air Force Kills Hamas Sniper Unit Commander in Gaza
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) eliminated Moamen Jabr al-Sayed Abu Labda, identified as the commander of Hamas's sniper cell, in an airstrike in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, on Thursday. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that Abu Labda led the sniper unit within the Rafah Brigade and was responsible for training snipers across Gaza. According to the IDF, his unit was involved in preparing for future attacks and attempting to rebuild Hamas's capabilities, even during a ceasefire. The Israeli military also accused Hamas of systematically violating ceasefire agreements.
