West Bank Settler Farms Occupy Over 1.1 Million Dunams in Area C

Settler farms in the occupied West Bank have seized over 1.1 million dunams of land, constituting one-third of Area C, according to a report by the "Settler Farmers Association." Area C encompasses approximately 3.5 million dunams. The report indicates that settlements have also taken control of about 200,000 additional dunams within Area C. Currently, there are around 130 settler farms established on West Bank land, with 40 of them established in the past two years. These farms are concentrated in the eastern West Bank, particularly in the Jordan Valley, and in the southern Hebron Hills.

The "Settler Farmers Association" aims to continue seizing land in Area C, with a goal of acquiring another million dunams. Israeli right-wing media outlets report that the association views these farms as a means to "strengthen control" over occupied territories, seeing them as a continuation of the principles of Zionist settlement. A statement from the association declared, "Our borders will be where the Jewish plow operates," and likened the Jordan Valley to the Jezreel Valley and the Dothan Valley to the occupied Golan Heights.

Meanwhile, a recent report by Israeli anti-settlement groups "Peace Now" and "Kerem Navot" stated that the Israeli government is accelerating the de facto annexation of the West Bank. The report claims that between 2023 and 2025, the Israeli government established 185 unauthorized outposts and forcibly displaced residents from 118 Palestinian communities through what the article describes as "terrorist attacks."
