20-Year-Old Woman Attacked in Azor After Being Followed on the Street

A 20-year-old woman was assaulted Thursday morning in the local council of Azor by a man she did not know. Security camera footage from the scene shows the suspect following her along the street and closing in behind her while she was walking and using her mobile phone.

Near the end of the clip, the man lunged at her, clung to her, hugged her and knocked her to the ground. The woman screamed for help, and the suspect appears to have panicked and fled the scene.

Later, the shaken woman went to the police station and filed a detailed complaint about the incident. According to the report, she accused him of an indecent act. The article says the attack happened this morning and that the suspect followed her for the entire length of the street before the assault.
