Tel Aviv District Police Commander Cmdr. Haim Sargaroff signed three administrative closure orders for businesses in Bnei Brak after an enforcement operation on Wednesday found illegal workers and suspected drugs.
During the raid, officers from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station, together with civilian agencies, found two undocumented workers at a building-materials store on Kahneman Street and two more at a car wash near Highway 4. At a nearby kiosk, police seized materials suspected to be dangerous drugs.
Police said the investigation into the four illegal residents has been completed, and the Tel Aviv District Prosecution Unit filed indictments against them and requested that they remain in custody until the end of the proceedings. The business owners were questioned under caution and released under restrictive conditions, while the investigation into them continues.
Following the findings, police licensing officers moved to close the businesses. The administrative closure orders took effect on Tuesday, June 17, 2026, and will remain in force for 30 days, until July 16, 2026, inclusive.
