Maccabi Netanya Parts Ways With Sahar Taji Amid Transfer Talks
Maccabi Netanya announced on Thursday evening the departure of Sahar Taji, who leaves the club after two years. The 25-year-old midfielder joined Netanya in the summer of 2024 as part of a trade deal that sent Ahmed Salman to Bnei Sakhnin. During his tenure with Netanya, Taji made only 12 appearances and scored one goal in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Bnei Sakhnin, the club Taji left for Netanya two years ago, is reportedly in negotiations to sign him. Taji previously played for Bnei Sakhnin for two seasons, making 50 appearances and scoring 4 goals between the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
