Maccabi Netanya Won't Block Captain Karam Jaber's Potential Transfer Amid Declining Role

Karam Jaber, the captain of Maccabi Netanya, is currently experiencing a significant decline in his professional standing within the team. Despite receiving encouragement from fans recently, Jaber is awaiting updates from his agent, Dudu Dahan, regarding any formal offers, although none have been made official yet. Earlier this week, Jaber and his father met with Maccabi Netanya's CEO Gil Lev to discuss his new status on the team and the financial terms the club would require for his release.

Since the arrival of Alon Azugi, Jaber has been relegated to the bench during training camps and Toto Cup matches. Even when Azugi was injured and unavailable for the squad against Hapoel Petah Tikva, the club preferred Amit Cohen over Jaber for the right-back position. Jaber has long been regarded as an uncontested player at Netanya, and the club expects him to demonstrate resilience and fight for his place in the starting lineup.
