Maccabi Netanya Parts Ways With Sahar Taji, Who Negotiates With Bnei Sakhnin
Maccabi Netanya announced on Thursday the departure of midfielder Sahar Taji, who leaves the club after two years. The 25-year-old Taji joined Netanya in the summer of 2024 as part of a trade that sent Ahmed Salman to Bnei Sakhnin. During his tenure with Netanya, Taji made only 12 appearances and scored one goal in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Bnei Sakhnin, the club Taji previously played for before moving to Netanya two years ago, is reportedly in negotiations to sign him. Taji played 50 games and scored 4 goals for Bnei Sakhnin during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
