Israel Completes Hezbollah Infrastructure Destruction in Southern Lebanon, Warns Iran

The Israeli military is completing a significant engineering and operational effort to neutralize and destroy Hezbollah's underground infrastructure on the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon. This area was a key strategic stronghold for the organization, and following its thorough clearing by forces from Division 36, the physical destruction of tunnels and bunkers is now being finalized. The operation aims to prevent Hezbollah from quickly restoring its subterranean firing and raiding capabilities in the central southern Lebanon sector.

The IDF stated that the operation to neutralize threats will continue as needed, with full readiness for any escalation scenario involving the "axis of resistance." After a week of intense combat and engineering activity, the IDF has achieved full operational control above and below ground on the Ali Taher ridge. The current focus is on planting hundreds of tons of explosives to permanently neutralize the underground facilities, which served as Hezbollah's command centers, weapons storage, and living quarters.

In response to this significant blow and the loss of strategic assets, Hezbollah is exerting heavy pressure on Tehran to intervene actively. The organization is urging its Iranian patrons to act diplomatically and militarily to halt Israeli military operations. Senior Israeli military officials have conveyed a firm message to Iran, stating there is no reason for them to respond to Israel's exclusive operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon. They warned that any Iranian intervention or action would be met with a swift, high-intensity, and particularly painful Israeli response.

On Thursday evening, the IDF spokesperson updated northern authorities, announcing a series of planned, controlled explosions and strikes in the Lebanese front in the coming hours. The sounds of these explosions are expected to be heard across the region, particularly in the Upper Galilee, Ramim Ridge, Hula Valley, and the Golan Heights. Local authorities have confirmed there is no change in public safety guidelines.
