Chaim Goldstein and Hershy Segal Release Emotional 'Anenu' Prayer Song

As the Jewish month of Elul, leading up to the High Holy Days, unfolds, singers Chaim Goldstein and Hershy Segal have released a moving rendition of the prayer 'Anenu' (Answer Us). The song, originally composed by Rabbi Moshe Yechizkiyah Weiss and featured on his album 'Hod ShebaHod', is presented as a special gift to the public ahead of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

The new musical project aims to provide a deep spiritual experience, blending prayer, melody, and emotion to evoke a sense of awakening. Goldstein and Segal's joint performance breathes new life into the prayer's simple yet profound lyrics, conveying the deep longing and emotion characteristic of this period.

The arrangement was crafted by Meir Liberman, who provided a rich and emotional sonic landscape, while Shimon Mintzberg handled the mix and mastering, preserving the melody's authenticity with high production quality. Hershy Segal also directed and edited an accompanying music video, with cinematography by Yitzchak Kalman and lighting by Yaron Gutfarb, which visually enhances the spiritual atmosphere.
