Israel Police Seize Rocket Launcher, Ammunition in Ramla and Lod Raids

Israeli security forces have confiscated a dangerous cache of weapons, including a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher and hundreds of bullets, during targeted operations in the central Israeli cities of Ramla and Lod. In Ramla, officers from the Central District, Border Police, and special patrol units raided a residential complex, discovering an RPG launcher and arresting a local resident suspected of involvement.

Simultaneously, in Lod, a separate operation by security forces resulted in the seizure of six weapon magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition of various types. Another suspect was detained for questioning.

These operations are part of an ongoing effort by Israeli forces to combat criminal elements and prevent the illicit diversion of weapons. Authorities stated that their forces will continue to act proactively and decisively to curb violence and enhance public security.
