Teenager Arrested for Sexual Assault and Blackmail of Minor in Bat Yam
Police in Bat Yam are concluding a sensitive investigation into a severe case of online blackmail and sexual assault involving minors. Authorities suspect a 14-year-old boy threatened a younger victim, demanding sexual acts and threatening harm if she refused. The suspect allegedly recorded their encounter and distributed the video among his friends.
The investigation, which began in August following a serious report to the police, revealed that the suspect initially contacted the victim via TikTok. He then escalated his demands, leading to sexual assault and blackmail.
The suspect was arrested and his detention was extended multiple times by the court. On September 1st, he was released to full house arrest, where he remains. With the investigation complete and sufficient evidence gathered, the case has been transferred to the prosecution.
A severe indictment is expected to be filed against the 14-year-old in the coming days, charging him with multiple serious offenses related to the exploitation and assault of the minor.
