Ra'anana to Build New Indoor Padel Complex
The Ra'anana Municipality announced the advancement of a new sports project that will establish a state-of-the-art padel complex in the Neot Uzi area of the Lev HaPark neighborhood. The planned facility will feature six indoor padel courts, enabling continuous sports activity regardless of weather conditions and year-round operation.
Padel, a sport combining elements of tennis and squash, has seen significant growth in popularity in Israel and globally due to its dynamic, team-oriented nature and accessibility for various ages and fitness levels. The new complex is designed to offer an advanced playing experience, and will include modern locker rooms, restrooms, and complementary service areas for players and visitors.
The municipality stated that the complex's construction is part of its ongoing policy to encourage active and healthy lifestyles, upgrade the city's leisure infrastructure, and create community gathering hubs. City officials expressed anticipation for the complex's opening, expecting it to become a draw for sports enthusiasts, families, and local players from across Ra'anana.
