New Indoor Padel and Pickleball Complex Opens at Big Fashion Glilot with Air Conditioning
A new sports complex featuring five air-conditioned indoor padel courts, a pickleball court, and an air-conditioned foosball table has opened at Big Fashion Glilot shopping center. The project, costing approximately 3 million shekels, was developed by brothers Ben and Omri Zini along with Gilad Edin. This facility addresses the challenge of playing padel in Israel's hot climate by providing a climate-controlled environment, allowing play throughout the year and even during peak summer heat.
The complex operates daily from 6:00 AM until midnight, offering flexibility for morning workouts or evening leisure. Its location within the shopping center enables visitors to combine sports activities with dining, shopping, and other entertainment options, making it a comprehensive recreational destination rather than just a sports venue.
The addition of pickleball and foosball options alongside padel courts broadens the appeal to a wider audience. This new attraction reflects the growing popularity of padel in Israel and introduces a novel solution to the sport's seasonal limitations caused by weather conditions.
