Ra'anana Approves Transportation Plan Paving Way for New Religious School Opening

A significant milestone was reached in Ra'anana regarding the long-standing effort to open the Chabad religious school in a proper facility. The city's local planning and building committee approved a transportation solution that clears the path for the school's opening in an appropriate and permanent building. This issue has been one of the most prolonged and contentious public and educational struggles in Ra'anana in recent years, symbolizing broader feelings of discrimination against the religious and ultra-Orthodox communities in the city.

The approval was made possible with full backing from Ra'anana's mayor, Chaim Broide, and active support from the city's ultra-Orthodox representative, Rabbi Meir Gridish, as well as Deputy Mayor Helen Mazuz, who tirelessly promoted the initiative.
