Bnei Brak Driver Accused of Assaulting 7-Year-Old Released After Police Questioning

A driver in Bnei Brak, accused of brutally assaulting a 7-year-old boy, was released after a police investigation. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 2 PM on Ben Azai Street in the Ramat Aharon neighborhood. The Tabashi family claims the driver stopped his car, exited, and struck their son, who was lying helpless on the ground. The family possesses a short video documenting the alleged assault.

According to the family's account, witnesses heard the commotion and initially thought it was a traffic accident. The driver, however, told police that he was startled by the child who approached his vehicle and ran into the road, and he denied assaulting the boy.

Police located the driver and questioned him. No further action has been taken against him at this time.
