Woman Accused of Defrauding Men Met on Dating Apps
A resident of Netanya has been indicted on 16 counts of fraud, theft, and forgery for allegedly defrauding men she met on dating applications. The charges detail a scheme where the suspect stole checks, credit cards, and property, including gold jewelry, from the men to fund her purchases.
According to the indictment, the accused also targeted individuals selling items online, meeting them to purchase goods using the stolen payment methods and forged documents. This method allowed her to acquire gold jewelry valued at tens of thousands of shekels.
Investigators from Netanya police station arrested the suspect as part of the ongoing investigation. The indictment was filed following the completion of the probe.
