Israeli Settler Found After Disappearing in Palestinian Village Following Security Alert

Israeli security forces announced the discovery of a settler who had gone missing inside a Palestinian village, following a widespread security alert. The announcement came shortly after a joint statement from the Israeli Police, the IDF, the Shin Bet security agency, and the Prison Service, detailing extensive search operations amid concerns for his safety.

Security agencies launched a large-scale search immediately after receiving a report that the settler, identified as Sardal, had entered the village around 6 PM on Wednesday. The village's name was withheld to prevent settlers from entering the area, which could lead to further confrontations.

Israeli security sources indicated that initial intelligence did not suggest a security incident was linked to the disappearance, leading to his classification as a missing person with all possibilities kept open. A joint command center was established, employing technological resources, intelligence gathering capabilities, and special units, including the Prison Service's Matzada unit and a police helicopter.

Sardal was last seen on Wednesday evening near the Ariel settlement before the search expanded to the surrounding village. Security forces had appealed to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts.
