IDF Locates All Israeli Civilians After Security Alert Near West Bank Village

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that all Israeli civilians who were reported missing near the Palestinian village of Muhamas in the Binyamin region have been located safely, and no security incident occurred. The alert began when Israeli civilians entering the area reported feeling threatened and subsequently lost contact. This prompted the IDF, Shin Bet, and police, including special units, to launch extensive searches around the village.

During the operation, a damaged and abandoned Israeli-plated vehicle was found near Muhamas, containing personal belongings believed to belong to the civilians. This discovery initially raised concerns of a possible security incident, leading to a lockdown of the area, road closures, and aerial support from a combat helicopter.

Later, one of the civilians contacted security forces, confirming that all occupants had left the village area, which ruled out kidnapping suspicions. Security forces continued investigations to complete the response and ensure the safety of all involved. The IDF spokesperson officially announced the conclusion of the search and the dismissal of any security threat related to the event.
