IDF says West Bank alert was triggered after two suspects were spotted in Beit Aryeh
The IDF Spokesperson said that a Home Front Command alert was activated shortly before the announcement over fears of a terrorist infiltration in Beit Aryeh, in the Binyamin Brigade area of the West Bank. The warning was issued after two suspects were identified inside the settlement.
According to the IDF, forces rushed to the area and began searching for the suspects. The statement did not say whether the men were armed, detained, or still at large.
The alert came amid heightened security sensitivity in the area, but the military’s update said the trigger was the sighting of the two suspects, not a confirmed attack.
