Israeli Security Forces Launch Extensive Search for Missing Ariel Resident
Israeli security forces, including the Shin Bet, IDF, Israel Police, and Israel Prison Service, have launched a large-scale search for Yevgeni (Yeniv) Sardal, a 53-year-old resident of Ariel. Sardal was last seen on Wednesday evening in the Ariel area. He reportedly entered a Palestinian village in the Samaria region of the West Bank of his own volition and has since been out of contact.
A joint command post has been established involving all security agencies, utilizing advanced technological and intelligence-gathering capabilities, alongside special forces units, including the elite "Matzada" unit of the Prison Service. A police helicopter is also surveying the area to assist ground forces.
Sardal is described as approximately 1.78 meters tall, with black hair, dark brown eyes, and a slim to medium build. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt, and white flip-flops. The police are urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Ariel police station or the national emergency number 100.
