Sydney Sweeney Appears Nearly Nude in Sports Betting Ad Featuring Israeli Anthem Snippet
Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney has starred in a provocative new advertisement for Novig, a platform that forecasts sports event outcomes. In the commercial, Sweeney is depicted in sexually suggestive poses, with her body partially covered by sports equipment such as basketballs, footballs, and a hockey chest protector. Other scenes show her lying on a billiards table and sitting on a basketball hoop.
"Think you know sports? Novig is all about sports. That's why we decided to show only sports," Sweeney states in the ad, noting her business partnership with the company. She explained the concept, saying, "We just wanted to execute a fun idea. The concept is simple: strip away all the noise and focus solely on the sport."
At the conclusion of the advertisement, a melody reminiscent of the Israeli national anthem plays. This music is not directly from "Hatikvah" but is from the song "Come Down" by American rapper Anderson .Paak, which serves as the ad's soundtrack.
Sweeney has previously engaged with pro-Israel activities. The star of "The Handmaid's Tale," "Euphoria," and "The White Lotus" has met with former Israeli hostages Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or.
