Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Young Nigerian Winger Raymond Okon
Hapoel Jerusalem has signed promising young winger Raymond Okon, the club announced on Thursday. Okon, 18, was discovered by the team's professional staff during a talent tournament in Nigeria this past summer. He joins Hapoel Jerusalem alongside Hamza Muhammad, another player scouted at the Nigerian tournament who was previously signed to the youth squad.
While Muhammad is part of the youth team, Okon will train with and be part of the senior squad. The club described Okon as a dynamic winger with good technique and dribbling skills. He recently provided an assist in a Toto Cup match against Ramat Gan.
