Nigerian Forward William Agada Joins Hapoel Haifa After Visa Delay
William Agada, the 26-year-old Nigerian striker, has arrived in Israel and will join Hapoel Haifa's training sessions. Agada returns to the club for a second stint, having previously played for Hapoel Haifa during the 2020/21 season. He transferred from Spanish club Real Zaragoza and will earn approximately 200,000 euros per season.
Hapoel Haifa, coached by Haim Silvas, will start their season later than planned due to the postponement of their opening match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Their first game is now scheduled for about a week and a half from Agada's arrival, when they will host Hapoel Tel Aviv at Sammy Ofer Stadium. The delay in the season's start is expected to allow Agada to reach match fitness before the first game. The club also anticipates the return of injured player Wahib Habiballah to full fitness soon.
