Nigerian Forward William Agada Joins Hapoel Haifa After Visa Delay

William Agada, the 26-year-old Nigerian striker, has arrived in Israel and will join Hapoel Haifa's training sessions. Agada returns to the club for a second stint, having previously played for Hapoel Haifa during the 2020/21 season. He was acquired from Spanish club Real Zaragoza and is set to earn approximately 200,000 euros per season.

Hapoel Haifa, coached by Haim Silvas, will start their season later than planned due to the postponement of their opening match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Their first game is now scheduled for about a week and a half from Agada's arrival, when they will host Hapoel Tel Aviv at Sammy Ofer Stadium. The delay in the season's start provides the team with an opportunity to get Agada match-fit before the opener. Additionally, the club anticipates the return of injured player Wahib Habiballah to full fitness.

This development follows the resolution of bureaucratic issues related to Agada's visa, allowing him to join the squad promptly and contribute to the team's campaign in the Israeli Premier League.
